Thanks luis,,
For anyone that has corel, 3-4 this works very well for them, i know friends that use this for design to send to others as a example to make transfers or templates, or for cutting templates on their own..

Thanks again,, this will be very useful,,

There are added stuff in it compared to the original. I added making single line font using X3 and X4. I also incorporated filling technique using contour tool that I had in a separate tutorial.

I have x3 and x4.  I did not know you could do single line font with x3.  I use it all the time with x4.

Louis,

I can only guess how much time and effort went into that tutorial. I added an applaud/Karma to your file. That is a very well written and obviously well planned effort.

Speaking for myself, I had all but abandoned the effort to create bling one dot at a time. Thanks to you, my interest has been renewed!!

Thanks again.

You can with X3 but as you have seen the steps it took to do one character it takes a lot. Using X4 with Center line trace tool is much faster.

I wrote a macro utility tool for filling a path with object(dot). I have a video in Youtube if you want to view it. It is best to view the video in a new window. Click the red arrow on top of the video screen that says "Watch this video in a new window" then resize the window. Not too big or it will get fuzzy. It is not a high resolution video.

That design was filled in 42 seconds. The screen capture program interferred with the timing so it looked slow in the video.

Greetings!

Here is another video that shows how the design of heart below was done. The video shows the basics for designing the paths. I used the macro tool for making the spin wheel and filling up the paths with dots. It can be done manually in X3 or X4. However, it takes time doing the filling and cleaning manually.

As the video that I posted in the past it is best to view it in another larger window. It has plenty of annotations.
