Read a story about a company doing them for free plus shipping and handling. out of pocket cost is about 7 bux and they charge s/h  about $13. They are doing 200 a day. That is about $1Million in profits so far for them.

So we don't do online stuff but we took that idea and offer for $12 a 2x4 welcome home banner. I figure after labor we lose $3 on each one so it is a charity event. We solicit 3 to a local charity, Big graphic on my truck window gets one today and a walkby of the shop gets 2 more so we are up to 6 in our first week of doing them. We won't get rich on this but they are fun to do.

Not sure where you are getting your banner blanks, but these folks have a good product and "great" price......

I've also been getting my banner blanks from this guy for years. Not only good pricing but they are excellent quality.

we dont buy blanks, we make them from the roll. about 95% less expensive. we are using banner welding tape and grommets. my vote would be no fold over, just cut and grommet. these are one time use things. we are using 13oz gloss.

95% less?.....That makes a 2 x 4 banner 0.32 each....Might have to change the way I do things....

It is about a buck in materials. Get a roll of 2' banner vinyl at 50 or 100 yards.
