This is not an inkjet transfer, but could not find where else to put it. I have been tinkering off and on with foil and think I have it down...I have attached a pic of one that was done in gold foil on a black shirt.

I used an OKI LASER printer and Exactprint paper from Stahls and the regular foil that you can get from www.heatpressvinyl.com

I printed the image in BLACK on the paper (mirror image), peeled according to directions..I think I used 350F for 30 sec. Then I placed the gold foil over the image...330/30 sec and then let it TOTALLY cool before peeling.  The big secret is letting the foil get totally cool before peeling off

Charles.  Here are the instructions from our website:

Pre press garment for 7 seconds before applying transfer.
    Set pressure at high.
Set temperature at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Foil designs come with a silicone paper to go over the foil before printing.
Place design with shiny side facing you and cover with silicone paper.
    Print 13 seconds.
Rub surface with eraser or cloth.
Allow to cool completely and remove cover sheet.
