First, let me say that I LOVE MultiCut.  I just finished 30 left chest designs that were crazy - but they cut and weeded flawlessly.  So I was waaaay frustrated when they wouldn't adhere when pressed!  I've never had this problem.

I was using a brand new roll of vinyl.  Shirts were pre-pressed.  100% cotton - nothing odd.  No seam, collar, or button issues.  I stuck in a mousepad to be sure, jacked the heat up a bit, prepressed a little longer, increased pressure and dwell time.  Still, deisgn wouldn't adhere.  As happy as I was with the cut and weed of the design, it was not an easy job and I wasn't eager to waste the hours I had into the job.

I had introduced 2 new variables into this job: BeefyT shirts, and wax paper.  I've used the shirts before, just not recently.  Because it took so long to weed these, I had stuck them to wax paper to keep them tidy until ready to press.  I'm guessing that they picked up some kind of waxy residue that was causing my problems.

I was able to resolve the issue by cold peeling instead of peeling hot.  And then I hit them with a 10sec second press.  Came out great.  Literally - I didn't lose a single design!

Moral:  its gonna mess up on ya from time to time.  Be patient.   Time, temp, pressure ... go thru the basics.  Figure out what's different. And don't hesitate to call distributor - they need for you to be successful.  Oh - and burn your wax paper so you're not tempted to do as I did!

Oh so glad you quickly found a solution. And thanks for posting...I hadn't ever thought of using wax paper, and now I'll know better.

I do the same thing, only I use silicone sheets to separate the weeded designs. Never had a problem with vinyl not sticking when pressing.

I bought 1,000 sheets of them from a vendor on Ebay a couple years ago when I had the T-Jet DTG printer, so they are like 24" x 30" each. I just tried to check with that vendor I purchased from but I guess they are no longer around. Best thing is to do a Google or Ebay search and see what you can find.

If you know someone in the food biz,  baking sheets for sheet pans are the same as the silicon sheets.  I think they are about 50.00 for a 1000 full pan size.
