Not sure if this is the place to post this, but i did anyway Grin

I used to design a bunch on my laptop, now I have a big bad PC in my shop so most designing is now done on it. Well it seems like i do not have the same fonts loaded on both. So now some files will not load properly because I dont have that font on my other machine....

It's no big problem, i just need to load them fonts & it will all be ok (i hope). I have never had this issue before, has anyone else ever run into this?

Yes, I've had it happen when I had a computer crash.  Luckily all of my purchased fonts I was able to contact the man I bought them from and he sent me new copies.

Do you have corel?  If so you should have a font navigator tool to install fonts.  You can purchase them or transfer them over with the navigator tool.

Good luck!

I do my designing on one pc.  I then put files on a flash drive to another pc that runs my printer.  It took me awhile to realize that I MUST also install any font that is used in the design.  I do this at the time I load the design onto the flash drive.  Then when I gat to the computer that runs the printer I have the design and all of the fonts that are used.  I simply install the fonts first then load my design.
   Hope this helps

I really need to figure out that font navigator. I started to use it, but then got confused as to which fonts to keep installed and which ones I shouldn't touch.

Not to sound like a horse's butt, but you need the ones loaded that you use and don't load the ones you don't.... Grin
