Well, I did it!  My new Epson printer will be here Wednesday.  I plan to use it primarily to print JPSS.  Can this be accomplished with the ink that comes with the printer or do I need something different?  I've been reading for about an hour and I'm not finding the answer.

The ink that comes with the printer has been used by some folks for heat transfer on JPSS......... I would rather use the PIGMENT INK from Cobra
http://www.cobraink.com/cartridges/cartridges%20pigment.htm

That is a link to their site. I suggest the #68 refillable carts pre-filled with the pigment ink.
I suggest charging the printer with the stock Epson ink and running some tests with the JPSS to become familiar with the process. Also if the printer fails in the initial start up, the warrantee will be honored. If/when you put aftermarket ink in the printer........ that voids the Epson (or anybodies) warrantee.

Lots/most of us here use the Epson brand printer and Cobra inks. If you have any start up issues just holler and we will help.

Betty,

There are many pages of commentary about the Epson printers and inks used in them.

This is the link to the master topic.

Thank you so much!  I read through the link before I posted, but for some reason most of the links weren't working.  The one you just supplied is what I was looking for.  I'm sure I'll have questions.  Appreciate the help.
