The ink that comes with the printer has been used by some folks for heat transfer on JPSS......... I would rather use the PIGMENT INK from Cobra
http://www.cobraink.com/cartridges/cartridges%20pigment.htmThat is a link to their site. I suggest the #68 refillable carts pre-filled with the pigment ink.
I suggest charging the printer with the stock Epson ink and running some tests with the JPSS to become familiar with the process. Also if the printer fails in the initial start up, the warrantee will be honored. If/when you put aftermarket ink in the printer........ that voids the Epson (or anybodies) warrantee.
Lots/most of us here use the Epson brand printer and Cobra inks. If you have any start up issues just holler and we will help.
