I'm looking for suggestions on how to preserve art on a t-shirt.  This is a limited edition piece, sentimental value only, done when a company closed.  I don't want to keep the whole shirt - it has signs of wear - but I want to rescue and save the screen printed design on the front so it can be displayed/hung on the wall perhaps.

Any ideas other than taping the design around a piece of cardboard and putting in a picture frame?

Appreciate anyone's input on this.

Quilt or quilted wall hanging designed such that the decoration from the shirt is the focus?

Interesting idea.  Quilting is definitely not one of my talents but the idea presents other possibilities such as a simpler wall hanging that is not quilted.

Thanks!

If you have a picture of the old business you could print the picture on a transparency  that could cover the screen print and matt both into a frame for a wall hanging. Just a upgrade over cardboard but could look very nice.

You might want to take it to a professional picture framer. They probably could mount it and use a glass that will provide protection from the light.
