OK i am supposed to keep my stress levels down, so i figured i would seek help before springing another leak...lol
I am using Corel Draw X5 & a Graphtec 24" cutter....
I have some round stickers i designed in X5 & I need to contour cut an entire sheet of them, i have watched videos & still have no idea what i am doing. The videos i have seen only cut a single design, not an entire sheet & i am not entirely sure i understand just cutting a single design....
So can anyone out there help me out & explain to me in simple terms on how to do this?? BTW if it is not obvious this is my first attempt at contour cutting anything...I plan on printing them, then laminating them & then loading into my cutter to contour cut them....I know folks do this all the time & it cant be as hard as it seems....  Huh

Uncle, I don't own a Graphtec but these links might help you. The second one is text, the first is a forum video.

thanks Ken....
I have ditched trying to contour cut using corel, i found an easier way ( for me anyway) i just saved my file as a jpeg & opened it using Robo master Pro ( which came with my graphtec) & it seems set-up to print & cut.....It's one more step, but for someone with little patience it works better for me....

Hey Uncle Remus.
I don't cut direct from Corel or WPwinpro either.  I save as .eps or .ai and use CutStudio or whatever it's called that came with my Roland.  I'm sure that cutting directly could ultimately be easier - but who has the time or patience to learn another process?  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I use the Cutting Master II plugin for Corel X5 and that works great for me anyway.

Uncle,

I had the same problem using Corel X5 and Windows XP. On my XP computer I have several design programs installed on it and the only thing I can figure out is there were some conflicts somewhere, thats usually the case with me anyway.

I installed the Cut Master 2 plugin on a windows 7 computer with corel draw X5 and it worked perfectly.  One thing I have found out is any computer I have adobe illustrator on, I seem to have problems with corel draw and its plugins, so I have one computer with illustrator on it and no other design programs.

Just a update....I finally got cutting master 2 to work with X5, it was a compatibly problem between cut master 1.80 ( the version i had ) & corel X5, Windows 7 ( i found out online), so i downloaded & installed cut master 1.82. Now all is good

You will really enjoy working with that setup. I use mine all the time cutting decals and control panel overlays and it works like a charm.
I've got (2) pre-programmed setups on the robo pro...one set at 15(down pressure) for cutting regular vinyl and one set at (30)(down pressure) when I cut laminated items.
