OK, some of you may know what this is and some may not. Below is a QR code. This one I created. If you have a smart phone just down load an app for QR reader. it is free. This can be used in so many ways. I went on line and found a free QR generator.  Can you imagine someone walking around a mall with this imprinted on their shirt and you hold up your camera shoot. it then takes you to desired location. If you have a smart phone just aim it at my code below.

Try. Lou

I've been thinking about this as an upsell opportunity.  Most of my customers are small businesses - uniforms & promotional items.  My thought is incorporating a QR code into their designs for them to use to draw customers to their website.  My question is, how particular does this code have to be in order to be read?  Can we cut it (vinyl) or embroider it?

I think printed would be best. I would hate to weed this. The one I have here goes to my site. But it can be any thing. I can print and use as a bar code on my products. It can be phone number. I was thinking of adding it to my banner at the NBM show. People walk by , snap. Then they go to my site. Nothing to hand out. I can make go to a price sheet as well. So many ways. Lou

I know of a guy who created an embroidered QR code and it worked.  He's my co-columnist at Stitches Magazine and he talked about it on his Facebook page. The link is below.

Here is a service I am doing,, if you want pm me and I will give you details...

How many times have you forgotten your Business cards,, even better yet you get some one Else's card and misplace  it and guess what they are a potential customer???

So I have set up a way to send a business card and collect their cell phone number to a data base so you can market to them anytime...

To try it, text ,   roger  to  2092226073  and see what happens,,, its magic...
