So i see we have 2 new members. Teesmyspecialty and Angelpapers. Is someone pulling a con. Both have same IP numbers. I guess they thought I would not check. Someone has some explaining to do! And before I ban both. You guys know that does not happen often. Lou

I wondered about that.  Something seemed hinky with their posts. 

I think, after you moderate a forum for a while,  you start to get a feel for when things aren't as they should be.

I apologize Angel Papers was perceived as a con but we are a legitimate distributor of heat transfer papers.  I do not want anyone to have a negative opinion of our company and I offer a sincere apology for any miss lead posts. We highly regard your industry knowledge and advise and do not want to jeopardize your relationship.  The Apparel Decorators Forum is a great resource for the industry and our intention was not to misinform anyone.  I know our product performance and I stand behind any statement made on this message board and Angel Papers website.   I would like to offer anyone a free no obligation sample if you like. In business the merits of the product will dictate how successful it is. In business the people who run the business dictate future business. You can't have one without the other. I know some of the most powerful people in the business and they would never have to stoop to this kind of self promotion. Had one of us tested your product and acknowledge how good or bad it was then that would have been another factor. I have been asked by many companies to test there product. I in fact was one of the first users of Neenah JetPro Soft stretch and my video was used on their site as a testimonial to how great it was or wasn't. I in fact found it was a superior paper.  I do not do this to get free stuff. I do this because I mentor many people and I do my best to protect my members from people who would mislead them or sell them products that do not work. Your intentions I am sure was to get the word out and probably was in good faith and I accept your apology on behalf of my members. They on the other hand may judge your company differently. Members can contact your company directly for samples. We have a sponsor program that is free (for Now) only consideration is discount to members.

good work Lou...the only thing I found lacking in the Angelpaper response was the acknowledgement they were trying to bambozzle us with phoney paper review from teesmyspecialty. it is one thing to promote your product openly but to use this method leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Maybe some member will accept their offer for free samples and I await their opinion. I for one will not be testing. I am happy with my current setup and don't really have time for upstarts..If it is a good product, it will show in time

I for one am disgusted with a company that would stoop to self promotion by creating a shell member.

With that said, I wouldn't buy their paper if it was two cents a sheet. Once a con always a con.
