Anyone out there using the Craft Robo Pro software?
Just wondering if it is worth the extra money ($399.00) to upgrade
from the standard lite version that comes with the Graphtec Robo cutter.

About your Graphtec 5000. I just put a video on how to use Corel Draw with Graphtec 5000 or any other cutter.  You may want to see the video on my Website: www.cherokeelaser.com.  I also have the Printer Buddy #369 Ink Supply System for the 1400 Epson wide format printer.  It prints on cottons. I also have sublimation.  Check out all my videos on my web site.  The Printer Buddy system and the ink is the best out there and the best cost.  It has 1026 ml of ink supply. There is a discount for you guys that do business with Lou.

I must be doing something wrong - I don't find any videos or links to a video on your website.  Where should I be looking?

Link, if you want to know how to use the Graphtec 5000, I have 2 really great videos I made but also I have a step by step by the numbers text for you to use, are you using corel? Graphtec didn't know how to tell people how to cut curves using using core. I worked on it for awhile and gave Ryonet the video and the text to use, they were very nice to me and gave me one of their 5000 cutters. So, I will be glad to send you a copy of the text all curve cutting inside and out of the image and another for the outline cutting. Just send me an email and I'll be happy to send those to you. Believe me they sure do help and the graphtec sure is a good little 15 inch cutter. My instructions works on all graphtecs. So, just send me that email.

When we got our Graphtec CE-5000 it came with the Craft Robo Pro and the Cuting Master 2 plug in software. In over a year and a half we have only used the CM2 software with our Corel and have not come across any need for anything else.

As 99% of our cutting is basic clipart and lettering I would venture that unless we changed our business model we would not need anything else.

I am getting ready to try the Craft Robo Pro in the next few weeks though. We'll see how it works for us.

cherokeelaser, just sent you a PM with email info for the videos.  Just got the Craft Robo Pro yesterday, not even out of the box yet.  I have a lot to learn - never used a vinyl cutter.  I have someone who has cutting designs forme and sending me what I need. It will be good to have it in-house.
Thanks for your help.

After finally getting the right software and drivers installed for my Robo Pro, it works perfectly on Windows 7 now. I had not issues with XP but Win 7 is a challenge, least it was for me.

The written instructions and video that Charlie (cherokeelaser) emailed over is very helpful, take a look for yourself.

HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS IN TEXT. THERE ARE 2 SETS, ON FOR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE CUTS AND THE OTHER FOR JUST OUTLINE CUTS. BOTH ARE FOR COREL DRAW, MAKES THINGS EASY. THE GRAPHTEC AND A PRINTER WILL PRINT CUT THE SAME IMAGE WITH MULTIPLE PRINTS AND CUTS YOU WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS BUT ONCE FOR EACH IMAGE. THE TIME IT TAKES IS NOT LONG AT ALL AFTER YOU HAVE DONE IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. IT IS A FAST PROCEDURE, WELL WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY.

Here is a video that has no personal gain except to get this Innovation out to the forum. So, here it is for you to spread the good news. I love it when a plan goes together. It is a ten minute video that shows how to
print without getting the paper print. I hope you enjoy this good news!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx5Lp_WtA1k (External Embedding Disabled). This will eliminate the use of a cutter if you don't have one and actually it will be a lot faster than cutting.

Here is a text of "HOW NOT TO PRINT THE PAPER" when heat transferring.
The video was before this.
