Why not experiment? I know some here last summer found flip flops or some summer shoe item at Walgreens and went to town with them. See where it leads you.

A huge issue with grabbing something off a retail shelf and imprinting on it is will the transfer adhere. This is why I no longer imprint on customers items. The material for instance I last tried looked pretty plain - cotton Tee but there must have been 'sizing' - not sure if this is the correct spelling- because the transfer would not adhere. I would start with scrap material and see what works.
