I just installed the new version...and boy oh boy...what a huge difference between the new and the older CS2 that I had. I think I will need a 4 yr learning curve just to get my mind around some of the new stuff just in Photoshop....and I am afraid to check out Illustrator! This makes Corel Draw and Xara look really easy.

Anyone else using CS5? any tips/hints or.....Huh all help graciously accepted! I have used Corel in about 95% of what I do, so I am not sure I even know what I don't know

I only have CS4.
The faves list was updated to this Google search. perhaps some tips and tricks would be found there.

Ken...you are using PS to print sublimation prints right? I think you said you had a 1400. are letting photoshop set the colors in the print dialog box...or letting the printer set colors. and was it you who said set the colors at +5,+5 and -15?

I am determined to make high temp ink work for dye sub

I am using a WF1100 to do my sub with the High Temp ink.

I am printing with P/S C4. The settings on the WF1100 are:
Plain Paper
Photo
Color control Adobe RGB, Gama 2.2
Printer manages color
Abobe 1998 RGB for input files and output print
Perceptual rendering intent

I don't alter the other color controls.

I'll help you conquer this issue as best I can.
If you want to call me and brainstorm it......... let me know. Sometime it helps to talk instead of type.  Wink Wink

I also saw somewhere that the Cobra website now has ICC profiles for the high temp ink.

I am a graphic artist... loving to learn the software. I spend many hours on Lynda.com learning new programs. They even have what new for the newest versions. Highly recommend the $25 for the month. Tech support is awesome too. Smiley

Charles, it may have been me that said I changed the color controls to +5/+5/-25 but that was only for pigment inks with my wf1100. Otherwise I get a yellowish green tint -color shift. My sublimation colors are ok letting things be in win 7, using photo-shop settings as described by Ken
