I am so piss** at this client I can't even think.
I have a simple two color job to do and I can't remember how to isolate the white color in the graphic from the black...........

I have added a light red background so the white areas show up better.

Any input would be welcomed. I have Corel C4 and Adobe C/S3 to create the vellum and re-size the graphic.

Screen printing or sublimation
Black and white on a white or colored tee?
Knock the white out if it is going on a white tee.
Is the wolverine brown?
So the two colors are black and brown?
Just trying to get the whole picture

Screen printing on a red shirt
color of the Wolverine is black
Highlights are white

the red I added was just to help spot all the white areas easier. The red areas will be open to show the shirt color.

Ken, I would screen the white first,,
and then the black,, so if i have any overlap, the black will go over the white,,

white over black is not pretty,

does this help?

I haven't screenprinted or created vellum before - but here is how I isolate colors for printing/cutting.  Sorry - I've no idea whether this is relevant....

To print color separations

1.   Click File  Print.
2.   Click the Separations tab.
3.   Enable the Print separations check box.

If you want to print specific color separations, enable the corresponding check box in the list of color separations.

Thanks Sandy........ I can't remember how to isolate/color sepatate. I agree to do the white first.

I have the demo program of Simple Seps............ I am too frustrated to make it work. I'll chill and try it again.

Julie........ what program are you using??

Try this link.  I think it is what you want.

http://advancedtshirts.com/tutorials/categories/coreldraw-tutorials/123/fundamentals-of-masking.html

I have accurip program so for me it's just a matter of clicking a couple of buttons and I'm good to go.  If you don't have a rip program you have to manually seperate in corel photopaint.  The above link should be the correct one to show how to do that.

Hope this helps!
