Hello all,
 First off as a newbie I wanted to say thanks to Lou and team for creating this forum and helping beginners by providing their experience and expertise. It has help me cancel out a great number of  oop's that could have occurred. I was trying to order the JPSS form Proworld taking advantage of the discount. However the receptionist was clueless to what i was talking about. If any one has ordered from them using the adf member discount what steps did you take? Can i order on line or do i need to call? Thanks in advance-E

When they redid their new site they took the discount away. I thought Ed would bring it back. I don't charge for sponsors as the other forum does. We are small and I guess paying to have our members visit their website is not in their best interest. OK, I get it. But giving them free access to you guys through our program I would think that has some value and offer something. The fact that you go there expecting a discount because they are a free sponsor shows you want to spend money at theirs our any of the sponsor sites.  It also disturbs me that the people who work for Proworld don't know who we are considering I see Ed visit here a lot. I am not expecting any of our sponsors to spend advertising dollars here but a little support for industry people would be nice. Not everyone on earth goes to TSF. Look we will never be as big as TSF. They were there first. Sponsors like ProWorld, Coastal and others spend a ton to reach their members. They also put on their sites links back to TSF. Sure I would love to be able to collect that sponsor money. But all I am doing here is trying to offer a place for you to enjoy and learn without all the other stuff. Maybe I should rethink all the sponsors. Lou

Definitely considers some rethinking. People spend a ton on advertising and you offer them a free spot and they can't honor a 10% discount for the members of this forum. I'm sure they saved a few $$. It was a honorable gesture on your part Lou. There are too many suppliers to choose from and there is always another way to skin a cat

I did not mean for this to go sour,,  I love pro world and the products they offer us, and I would do business with a coupon or no coupon, I just could not find it,,
And was wondering if I was missing it.
I always remember after I order,, to check and see if there was a coupon code,, so this time I remembered before..

It is not about Proworld, or their products. Pro world is a great company. They are also one of my suppliers. This is more about how I allow free sponsorship and then members call and then these companies and their sales people don't even know who we are. that is what makes me think that offering this might be a waste of time. If we had 100,000 members the line would be down the street. I hate to tell members that companies offer a discount and then this happens. I take it personal. I know for a fact that a lot of members join TSF for the discounts offered there. oh well.

Whoa, Lou!!   We completely overlooked reestablishing a discount for forum members when we were building the new website. A simple email to me would have sufficed to bring it to my attention. I'll make sure that a special discount for forum members is provided to you within a few days.

That happened months ago after you removed it.I sent you an email and  I asked please let me know when you are ready to place a new code on ADF. I got no response. So I figured you would.  Also I would think your sales people would bring it to your attention that people from ADF were asking for discount. I did not think about it again until this thread started. Thanks Ed for responding.
