There is a new service that I started that I think that should be of interest to all of you. Some of you went through the trials and pain of setting up a store in Malls4rent and I commend you for your efforts as that was a big crash course in web building 101, for those that set up a store there you should be very proud of yourself!

Before I show you the new site I have, I am going to lay a little foundation down so you get the idea behind the whole thing. I believe that the web standard of search engine optimizing will play a small role in the near future, we have all heard of this term SEO over and over again, basically what it means is that you pick certain keywords, meta tags and meta descriptions that describe the products of your web site, you then fill your website with colorful content reflecting your key words and such, publish your site to the internet and hope for the best, while the little search engine spiders crawl your site and index it according to all of the above criteria. The trouble with this approach is that there are a million or so other sites with the same thing in mind,same keywords and so on.

I believe that all you need to be successful selling online is a one page website with a shopping cart in a community of stores, I know most of you are thinking that I am nuts but let me explain. With a community of stores you have the power behind you of seo, basically the more stores in the same place on the same website brings to you a indexed site that ranks high on the search index, the more stores the more content the higher on the list it goes, its really as simple as that. This is what I call social shopping and ties in directly with social media or networking.

Ok here is how it works and how it will benefit you. Step one, with the shopping cart I have in my mini website structure you can use that same shopping cart on your fan page in Facebook, you can also use it on a blog if you so desire and if you have a website it can be used there with out having to rebuild everything!!!  One location to add products delete products get sales stats and everything, no upgrades and no maintenance. Step two, build yourself a one page site in the community ( takes any were from 10 min. to 30 min. depending on your content) if your not on facebook then get a account, set up your cart on your fan page (I have a easy install widget) and link your community store to your facebook account. Step Three, get a twitter account and start tweeting. Ok now you are wired,, what you have to do at this point is work it and "they will come".

So here is how it works, say we have 100 stores in the decorated apparel section, each with a link to their facebook account,website or blog. Thats one hundred links and link backs to the community, now lets say that each store has 10 fans that link back to the community, so now we have 1000 links and back links to the community and then each of your fans have 10 fans of their own that link back to the community, so now we have 10000 links to the decorated apparel section of the community, these are relatively small figures by the way.
Now all of a sudden we plunge to # 1 on the google index and have natural web traffic bookmarking to their social media pages so their friend will know of your store, this is a mushroom effect off of one single page and that translates into sales,, just simple as that.

Nice Job about time.

I will mention that Rogers new site not only gives you great web presence it also list's the sites by areas. for instance if someone is looking for a product in California and they click the California listings those sites will be listed for them. So you really get many many ways of having your presence presented. The cart is fantastic, it allows you to do your work in one place and then have it listed in many places, such as on your website, facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc.

No this has nothing to do with malls4rent, I believe that was an experimental precursor to this new site and a way for Roger to give our members a place to learn about the internet a give something back to the industry.

Thanks DAD  i currently just have it set ti USA but if you want I will set it up by state and if you have a brick and mortar shop you can even activate a Google map that will be in your webpage,, the site has many more features such as friends can email friends or you can receive emails from clients or you can send emails to anyone,, it also has reviews so your customers cane leave a feedback about your services and a star rating of your website,, much more also...

I still need to finish my M4R website. I see that it is free for 60 days, what will it be after that? I am interested but figure even though I learned a lot doing the M4R that I will need help. Thank you Roger for doing all that you do so that we can have a web presence and helping us to be successful in our businesses.

Boomer,, this one is so simple,, if you can use the forum here then you can do this,, much more simple than m4r,, ask Sandy Jo she uses the cart in her rhinestone Decal shop, as far as the price you can see that under compare memberships in the menu on the site.. If you do as I outlined above you will be busy,,,, I am doing complete set of videos on how to open a shop and there are some on the site already, there is no reason except for putting in product and description in the shopping cart that you can't make your web page in 10 to 30 minutes from start to finish,, its just that simple...

After the training videos are uploaded I will be aggressively going after traffic and members for this site including all the social networks,, when I do my work then it will be better for the community.

One page websites or mini sites are not new but are making a big splash right now because people just don't want to read volumes anymore,, they just want to see product and short blurbs,, thats why I don't like the long videos you see on you tube,, they make me fall asleep,, instead I like videos 5 minutes or less in length,, grabs my attention, if I want to see a movie I will rent a dvd...

I was instantly busier,,

Have i made alot of sales,, from the site,,

Not on the site,, but my sites are a information, headquarters,,, of ideas,, of what i can do,,,
I have made a ton of sales from everyone of them.. custom sales.. if i did not have those sites,, i would not have made those sales,
They would have gotten lost in my Rhinestonetemplates.com site,,, and that was it, gotten bored before they ever hit the rhinestone or Transfer area,,,,

now when they are looking for transfers, i have a site just for that,,
I am acutally thinking of doing another one, just for rhinestones and supplies,,,

Now i just need new business cards for all the websites,,,,lol

Yes the set up will be waved,, after the 60 days you will have to upgrade to the $4.99 per month,, the $ 9.95 a month is for me to do everything,, build the site and to put product in the cart,, that's why its a $150.00 set up

So you choose a template like in M4R add product and description and pages as needed? How would I go about getting other domain name(s)? I watched the videos and what I saw seemed fairly simple. And I looked at MMM's rhinestonedecals4U site, and it is very nice. I could just do the same products that I have on M4R? I'm not sure I know what questions I need to ask
