Hey guys
Where can I get a Teflon Bra?
I'm going to assume these have some type of elastic on them so they cup the top & bottom plates?
Also I read somewhere about some type of temp gauge so that I can ck the temp of my heat press..
Can I get something like this at Home Depot?
I bought a really cheap press. The direction said to set my temp in celsius but when I do the plate is not all that hot so pump it all the way up to like 400

Teflon Bra- I got mine at Best Blanks have used for a year now still in great shape.

You can get an ifra red thermometer from home depot and Harbour freight if you have one close has a nice one.

Most cheap presses do not read both celcious and fahrenheit. What type press do you have?

Do you know the equation for converting fahrenheit to celcious.

If your press doesn't read in fahrenheight then 400 is way to hot That would be 752 degrees fahrenheit.

Please tell us what type press and we can help.

You can buy temperature guns and digital pyrometers from almost any place that sells heat presses.  We sell a pyrometer for $85.00.

They are a great tool.  Heat press temps can vary,  and presses can also have hot spots and cool spots.  Getting a good temp gun or pyrometer which will help you get accurate temperature measurements is a good investment.  It can save you a lot of trouble and wasted work down the road.
