Hey guys I am going to post a lesson here on How to Make a Rhinestone Transfer or Motif by hand if you don't have a vinyl cutter or cam system,
it is a great way to Test the waters if you have the market or not to see these, without investing a ton,
Time consuming but addictive,,

ok all you have to do is follow the lines, and space the stones the same all the way you go,, be a lil creative, go outside whatever lines you want,, form the letteres or graphics the way you like, it is your transfer.

If you make a mistake, what the heck take the Rhinestones off with a tweezer and start over,, I lay my stones down with a exacto knife tip,, when they are sharp they stick into the glue on the back of the stone, untill you lay it down, face, down on the hot fix tape.
I also use the white backer of hot fix tape, and lay it on  my hot fix tape to give my hand a place to anchor and rest while placeing the stones,, otherwise you will stick to the hot fix tape everytime you place a stone,, Good way to get hair off your arm, if you dont like it,, lol

when you are done, place the white backer paper back on the Rhinestone Transfer you have made, press the stones into the Hotfix tape, with your hand, before lifting the design,,
Now lift the design,, Voila,, isnt it beautiful,,, and wow does it sparkle..
You Just leaned how to make a Rhinestone Hot Fix Transfer.
You dont need dots, you can follow any line as long as you space them the same, all over,,
If you need to start with the dots but as you learn, go to the lines, you will be able to redo anyones, logo in rhinestone.

I will press this tomorrow,,  and show it pressed,,
I press at 385 and 20 sec,,
turn inside out press again for Tee Shirt 5 ,sec sweatshirt 7 sec
Turn right side out press again,,
always coverd incase glue comes out dont want that on my press plates,,

Great post, SandyJo!  Let me see if I got this right.  Step 1 - Print transfer, mirror image.  Step 2 - Take HotFix tape and peel backing off and place on transfer sticky side up.  Step 3 - Place rhinestones on tape face down using transfer as outline.  Step 4 - Press. Did I miss any steps?

You got it,, just when the rhinestones have all been placed,, make sure and put white hot fix  back piece back on transfer , run your hand over the white backer paper, then turn you design around,
and admire it,,  and be prepared it is hard to get a good, pic because of all the sparkle,,

MMM these are beautiful! I can see using rhinestones to design some pretty chic items. You probably should do some videos teaching us... You are one TALENTED lady. Thanks for  sharing/

wow . i came up for some air, this software with this machine is gonna be pretty awesome, it looks to be a program like corel and or adobe, and flexi, and das,, all in one,, program,,, I just got home from work, so now off to study some more,,

I would like to know how durable the stones are. Do they come off in the wash? Do you have to hand wash only? Are they acceptable for stretchy tees, regular t-shirts and even sweatshirts?

You know, I think I could get into this....

January, Yes to all the below,,
Yes they hold up,, I wash with reg cloths and have been since last march,, tank tops, bras,, panties, Tee shirts,, sweatshirts and hoodies,, and sweats,,, I have not ( knock on wood) lost a stone,,
I use hotfix stones,
The stones i get have great glue on them. if applied properly, I believe them to be permenant.
