I've got some questions about transfer types and what type of shirts to use. My equipment include a sunie heat press and an epson workforce 30 with ChromiumPro UltraIII Heat (Durabrite Ultra match) and I do have a CRP cutter.

1 - Someone suggested that I use a brand called JetWear. However I had my eye on jiffyshirts.com. That site sells all 100% cotton shirts. I was told never to use JetWear with 100% cotton, only half poly half cotton or 100% poly. Is that true?

2 - Does using something like SoftStretch and ActiveWear light transfers (soft hand / no hand) have a short life? (crack and peel less than 4 months) Long ago I had a nightmare with Avery light transfers... hope to avoid it again. I almost considered skipping light transfers and going all out dark transfers even if it was on a white shirt.

3 - Assuming I can't use 100% cotton... Could you suggest a good site to order from? Hope to find shirts for girls age 16 - 25 and boys 18 - 28. Hope to find the colors black, white, light pink and light purple.

In conclusion, I want to use JetWear Brand (especially the dark transfers) but also the correct shirt that is flattering to the female figure and cool looking for the guys!

I have had good luck with Alpha/Bodek , Sanmar and S & S for 100% cotton Tee's. I have also had good luck with a 50/50 blend from Gildan also from those sites. The white Tee's, I use jpss paper and the dark color Tee's I only do vinyl- no luck with dark transfers, they all have come off the press feeling like cardboard.

I agree with gprockhill..

For dark fabrics in any quantity, screen print or plastisol transfers.

For small runs where you can jack the price, AND if you have access to a laser printer, Image Clip For Dark is very good. Review ALL the video from the Conde site for instructions for the successful imprinting of this product.

Hi gprockhil! So Alpha works with 100% cottons? Thanks for the green light. I'll give the soft stretch a go, since today I just discovered Alpha and Jet are the same paper Tongue  If it works out, I'll surely post some images and report after a few months of intended absue.

For darks, I see not many have had luck.  Even with the raves about Jet and Ironall, people complain about it one way or another... I did however browse the goog and found this  http://www.amymickey.com/  Have you ever seen this before? I'm very very very curious about this. Although 5 sheets for 15 dollars sounds a bit scary.

The Alpha I am referring to is a clothing website. Alpha and Broder are different websites, different accounts required but they are in fact the same company. Alpha carries American Apparel (which now having said that, I must add-I am dumping due to their CEO's continued unethical behavior) and Broder carries Bella.

The only paper I have used (and its only because I bought a boat load) is jpss
paper for white and very very light color material. It is in fact also very good for the mousepads you mentioned earlier.

I have not had ANY success with papers designed for dark colors, although from some of the reports Ken has offered would indicate that laser printers might produce a better product.
