Hi guys, got a call today from Charley Clarke who owns www.charokeelaser.com. Mr Clark has been in the ink business for a number of years and has developed a new ink. The ink is called 369. Now that said I was in a rush and should have asked him a zillion questions but did not have time. So you guys may want to look at his videos and ask him directly. He will be joining us. He went to another of my sites thinking he was coming here and did not realize that till I got back from my road trip today. I sent him a link. So take a look at the video. Apprently his inks could be a replacement for pigment inks. Here are the links

Wow! if you just be patient things will come much easier. I am glad I waited and not rushing into buying unnecessary stuff. I haven't been on here for awhile just trying to organize my life in order to get my business on track. One thing out of order puts everything out of order.
But, I love it when I come back and there new stuff going on. WOOHOO!!!

Great find boss Smiley

Just understand prices for this may be restrictive. Charley told me he has this for CIS and refillable carts however the sizes and cost may be higher then some traditional inks, he also stated he has a sublimation ink. More will be coming and I know We will be getting more details from him. So hold on to that pony young lady. I don't want to lead your pony to a dry watering hole..

I was amazed at how bright the colors were on his transfer to the white shirt. Can't wait to hear more about this stuff.

I called Charlie about an hour ago and had a nice chat with him. From what I gathered, he was using Soft Stretch paper. I sent him a picture of my logo which he is going to print on some paper for me using the new ink so it will be interesting to see the results.

Very interesting. The colors were incredibly vibrant. If they have been in use for any time at all...what would be most informative is to see 2 shirts done at same time with one having been washed atleast a dozen times...Side by side comparison.
Also for mug with one being put through dishwasher for weeks.
The tees were printed on JPSS? .70/sheet Huh

It doesn't look like the JPSS I got from Ace....no grids on the back of the paper.

So, is this pigment or dye ink? The support guy at inkjetfly said that all pigment inks soak into the paper and are very dull looking.

It is really the type of paper, if you print pigment on Photo paper it really makes for some brilliant long lasting photo's. Epson's were originally designed as photo printers.

That's funny. I printed a photo with the new pigment inks I got last night and the photos are unrecognizable. One of my daycare kids is obsessed with Justin Beiber so I printed a pic of him for her. The ink sits on the top of the paper and even today smears somewhat. The fleshtones are weird and the leather jacket looks like I put a posterize filter on it from photoshop. I can't use these inks for anything but transfers is how I feel.

I bet you bought there heat transfer ink didn't ya. The Black in that is specifically formulated for heat transfer. And yes any ink will print on photo paper but epson designed there printers and inks specifically for photo's. No MMM I print all my Photo's with the same ink that I print my transfers with and they are pigment just not the heat transfer formulation. The reason for the heat transfer formulation was because some black pigment ink especially of the Chinese kind would turn green under heat, not all mind you but some.

I ordered the pigment in refillable cartridges. The black says its photo black. It does turn a real funky green when I press something gray.
