Thank-you for all of your friendly welcomes!

No French roasts here, either!  Too dark and bitter for my personal tastes.  BUT ... I love a good city roast!   So anytime anyone is near Ann Arbor, please stop by for a fresh-roasted & brewed cup-o-java drink of your choice!  Wink

Wow, Roger, five pounds!?  That's a big roaster!  My kids complain that it smells like burnt popcorn in the house when I roast, but mine is just a little one that I use under the range hood vent.  I'm on my third one over an 8 year period, but I just love that little thing!

5 pounder is pretty small and i only do about 2 pounds at a time,, I used to represent the company that made these roasters, it was a demo and the company went out of business so I ended up with it,,,

Got sidetracked when looking through the pics earlier, but just found the ones that Mike and Boomer did.  Ooooo, aaahhhh!!  Very inspiring and can't wait to give it a try.

Question about pressing time for the rhinestone transfer onto the decal material - how long?

Sandy's instruction at post 59 say 12 min.  I had been told 12 sec??  Am I doing this wrong?

Thanks.

Irish - what is happening on the decal? Are the stones not adhering? I press mine at 340 degrees, medium pressure for 10 secs. Let cool. I place the decal in the center of my heat press. There should be a little circle of melted decal around each stone. I have found that correct pressure is pretty critical. I have had to repress more than once sometimes, I just make sure that the decal is completely cool before I repress. Also make sure you have a teflon sheet both under on on top. Good to see you here, by the way Grin
