its a stand made of wood where the back angles back with a plywood back so you can put your banners or signs on it so you can make them while you stand or sit

An old drafting table sounds like it would be fantastic for smaller ones.

Make an easel out of 2 x 4, a hinge some small chain to keep it from opening too far and some press board as the backer.

Our dongles are located on a USB port INSIDE the desktop computer. Additionally the computer is internally secured to the desk and the exterior of the case is locked. In doing this the dongle will never be misplaced, damaged or lost.

Also, this insures that the license agreement is fully complied with as "Most" software is allowed to only be installed on "One Computer" at any one time.

One of my pet peeves is illegal use of software, many do it without intending to but if caught face prison and fines. I have seen a very successful business destroyed by their inattention to their software license. They were sued, lost and all equipment was seized and transfered to the other party, they received 2 years (suspended with probation), a fine of 75K plus having to continue payments on all seized equipment.

Be careful out there, I know many have their software on both a desktop at the business and a laptop for outside the business and just swap the dongle. Watch out, this is illegal with most agreements. READ your agreement! Shocked Shocked

Almost every computer case I have ever seen has the ability to lock the panel to the main case with a padlock.  Just be sure to use a lock that has a bail large enough to prevent the removable panel from being removed with the lock in place.

Additionally there are special lock boxes you can obtain to secure your computer.

I have my computer screwed to the desk with a lock on the back.

Just remember the old adage; "Locks only keep honest people honest!"

I could never understand why my friend never locked his convertible until I had one of my own! I be danged if someone sliced my top just to get a dollar off the seat I had left there for my kid!  Never locked it again! Angry

OK?  What's a dongle?  Is that a flash drive?  Or do I want to know?  Yes'm, I'm computer stupid!  Tongue

A dongle is a security device supplied with some software packages to prevent unauthorized usage.
It is usually plugged into a vacant USB slot, years ago they were connected to the serial port.

When the software is started, it looks to see if the dongle is connected to the computer, if it detects the dongle the software starts normally, if it doesn't detect the dongle the software just exits and won't start.

I only have two at present, both for my embroidery packages.
With my embroidery software, if I lose the dongle, I will have to purchase the software again($'000s) - I can't just buy a new dongle (as the software company may think I have just given or sold it to someone else)
If, on the other hand, the dongle fails or becomes defective, I can buy a replacement for $750 (and I have to return the dead one first).
